Yes. All bidders are required to complete a one-time registration at the Smart Bid Auction Sdn Bhd office before participating in an auction. Please bring your original IC, as thumbprint verification is required to ensure a secure and verified bidder registration.

Yes. A bidder deposit is required before participating in the auction. Vehicle: RM1,650 deposit. If you successfully win a vehicle, RM1,000 will be applied towards the purchase price of the vehicle. Motorbike: RM750 deposit. If you successfully win a motorbike, RM500 will be applied towards the purchase price of the motorbike. For vehicles with a reserve price above RM50,000, a higher bidder deposit of RM3,650 to RM5,650 may be required, depending on the bank or financial institution. Please ensure that you have sufficient credit in your bidder account before bidding.

Yes. We strongly encourage bidders to inspect vehicles before bidding. Our usual viewing period is Thursday and Friday, 9:30 AM to 5:30 PM, unless otherwise stated.

Vehicles can be inspected at the relevant Smart Bid Auction Sdn Bhd storeyard. Use the Get Directions button for the location and check each vehicle listing for any location-specific information.

You must have a valid Malaysian Identity Card (MyKad) to register as a bidder and participate in the auction.

The successful bidder must follow the payment and collection instructions stated in the auction contract. Payment deadlines and collection procedures may vary depending on the bank or financial institution.

Auction vehicles are generally offered based on their current condition and the applicable auction terms. Buyers are encouraged to inspect the vehicle and review all available information before bidding.

Yes. All Smart Bid Auction Sdn Bhd bidding is conducted online. Simply select the vehicle you are interested in and click the link provided on the vehicle detail page to access the online bidding platform. Before the auction starts, please ensure that your bidder registration and verification are completed and that you have sufficient credit in your bidder account to participate in the bidding.

If you are unsuccessful in the bidding, you may request a full refund of your bidder deposit, which will be processed within 1–3 working days upon request. Alternatively, you may choose to keep the deposit in your bidder account and use it for your next auction.
